Mary B. Fennell

Mary B. "Molly" (McGrath) Fennell, 94, of Worcester died Thursday, July 8 in UMASS Medical Center.
Her husband of 62 years, Thomas F. Fennell died in 2003. She leaves a son, Thomas F. Fennell, Jr. of Worcester; a daughter, Kathleen A. McDermott and her husband James of Shrewsbury; a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Fennell of Spencer; five grandchildren, Cathy, Megan and Colleen McDermott, and Holly and Sean Fennell; a great grandson Joshua and nieces and nephews. Two sons, John J. Fennell passed away in 1991 and James E. Fennell passed away in 1975. Three brothers, John, Thomas and Edward McGrath and a step-sister, Mary Henchey also predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of John and Ann (Kelly) McGrath and was a lifelong Worcester resident. Molly was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, class of 1934 and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes for over 62 years.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, July 10 at 10 AM in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. Burial will be private in St. John's Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
