Mary E. (Hiller) Ferguson, 97, formerly of Chatanika Ave. passed away Tuesday, January 24 in the Jewish Healthcare Center.
Her husband of 50 years, Stephen A. Ferguson, Esq. passed away in 2002. She leaves five children, Maureen F. Ferguson of Holden, Kathleen A. Sullivan and her husband, Paul of Paxton, Michael S. Ferguson, Esq. and his wife, Susan of Shrewsbury, Patrick H. Ferguson Esq. and his wife, Melanie of Holden and David K. Ferguson, Esq. and his fiancé, Ashley of Paxton; a sister, Adelaide LaForce of Florida; ten grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Five siblings, Theodore, Evangeline Carlson, Frances, Jean and Joan predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Theodore and Adelaide (Nelson) Hiller and graduated from Commerce High School.
Mary was a member of Christ the King Church. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, especially to York Beach and to the Black Forest and Bavaria .
A Private Funeral Mass was held at Christ the King Church. Burial was in St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of, memorial donations may be made to Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant St., Worcester, 01602 or to the Jewish Healthcare Center at www.jhccenter.org
