AUBURN-Mary Ann (Tjellander) Ford, 73, died Saturday, June 5 surrounded by her loving family.

She leaves a daughter, Maurie Ann Ford and her long-time partner, Thomas G. King of Worcester; two sons, Michael G. Ford of Holland and John G. Ford of Webster; her sister, Nancy Johnson and her husband Paul of Worcester; two nieces Kim Callinan and Tara Kaminski both of Worcester; three great nieces, Emma, Grace and Madelyn and a great nephew, Ryan. She was predeceased by her former husband, George T. Ford.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of Arthur V. and Anastasia (Coughlin) Tjellander and graduated from Ascension High School. She worked for many years at MetLife and also for Dr. Pond in Auburn. Mary Ann was a member of St. Joseph's Church for many years. She was a member of the Sisters of Notre Dame Ascension Parish Alumni. Mary Ann was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Red Sox and the Patriots. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family and close friends. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

The family would like to thank everyone at UMass Memorial Hospice for the care given to their mother during her illness.

Mary Ann's funeral will be on Wednesday, June 9 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford St., Auburn. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 8 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
