Mary J. (Quinlisk) Genelli 96, of 122 No. Main St., Oakdale, died Saturday, Nov. 20, at home, after a brief illness.

Her husband John F. Genelli died in 1950. Her son, John F. Genelli of Gulf Shores, AL, died in 2002. She leaves, six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Irene Deschenes of Fitchburg; daughter-in-law, Edna Genelli of Foley, AL; and nieces and nephews. She was born in Gardner, daughter of Michael and Mary (Freeman) Quinlisk.

Mrs. Genelli owned and operated Wachusett Artesian Wells in Oakdale with her son for many years, retiring in 1971, she then worked for Oakdale Nursing Center for several years.
She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, the West Boylston Senior Citizens and collected dolls. She enjoyed sewing, needle pointing and baking.

A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, Nov. 24, at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 4, 115 Ballard St. Worcester 01607 or to the American Heart Assoc., 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701. FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston St. is directing arrangements.
