Mary T. Leahy

WORCESTER
Mary T. Leahy, 90, of Worcester died Tuesday, May 18 in the Auburn Life Care Center.
She leaves a brother, Vincent P. Leahy and his wife Mary of Auburn; a sister, Dorothy A. Carr and her husband William of Spencer and Del Ray Beach, FL and many nieces and nephews. Two brothers, John and Joseph Leahy and two sisters, Rita known as Sr. Mary Elizabeth Leahy S.P. And Elizabeth DeBenedetto predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Patrick J. and Nora (O'Leary) Leahy and graduated from Commerce High School.
Mary was a telephone operator for A1 Answering Services for many years before retiring, prior to that she worked for Western Union. She was was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.
A Funeral will be held Monday, May 24, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass celebrated by her nephew, Rev. David W. Carr at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Sunday, May 23, from 3 to 5 PM at the funeral home.
