Mary M. McGourty

WORCESTER-Mary M. McGourty, 90, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at St. Mary's Healthcare Center. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Peter J. and Katherine E. Powers and graduated from St. Peter's High School. Mary once worked for Melville Shoe Company and Brockelmans Supermarket. She belonged to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church throughout her life and for a short time in later years, she attended St. Joan of Arc Church. She is survived by cousins and friends.

The Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 26 at 10:30am at Sacred Heart-St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 600 Cambridge Street. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
