Mary V. Mulhern

WORCESTER

Mary V. (Buckley) Mulhern, 94, formerly of 1 Achushnet Ave. died Thursday, March 24 in the Jewish Healthcare Center. Her husband, John F. Mulhern died in the Tornado of 1953. She leaves a daughter, Mary K. Bartholomew of Ashland, NH, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a nephew. Her son, John F. Mulhern and her grandson, Brian Mulhern predeceased her.

She was born in Clinton daughter of William and Catherine (Callahan) Buckley and moved to Worcester in 1934. Mary worked as an LPN for many years in several area nursing homes before retiring. She was a founding member of St. Joan of Arc Church.

The funeral will be Friday, April 8 from the CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 12:30 p.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the morning of the funeral. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Refugee Apostolate, 27 Chandler St., Worcester, MA 01609
