Mary A. "Mae" (Carney) Savageaux, 96, of Millbury died Friday, April 9.

Her husband George Savageaux died in 1979. She leaves two children, Paul F. Savageuax and his wife Sharon of Lewes, DE and Frances M. Farrell and her husband James E. with whom she lived; six grandsons; eight great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A son, Kevin P. Savageaux; her brother, Francis and two sisters, Phyllis and Rita predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Francis J. and Mary A. (Carney) Carney.

Mae was a longtime member of Saint Brigid's Church. She took great interest in following local and national politics and was an avid Red Sox fan.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, April 13, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. Worcester with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Brigid's Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in St. Brigid's Cemetery.
