Worcester-Mary A. Wilder, 77, passed away Sunday, October 9 in Notre Dame Long Term Care.
She leaves two siblings, Kenneth Wilder of Rutland, and Shirley Seaberg of Worcester; nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. Seven siblings, Richard, Paul, John, Lawrence, Robert, Arthur, and Maureen Wilder predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Lawrence and Catherine (Lynch) Wilder and graduated from Commerce High School and David Hale Fanning Trade School.
Mary was a licensed practical nurse for many years at area hospitals and long-term facilities care centers. Mary enjoyed keeping up with the news and current events, reading avidly, spending time in nature, walking and running, exercising, and spending time at Indian Lake.
A Visiting Hour will be held Thursday, October 13 from 4 to 5pm with a Prayer Service at 5pm in Callahan Fay Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St. Burial will be private in St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities, 10 Hammond St., Worcester, 01610.
