Mary Angelina "Angie" (Belezos) Zogas, 98, passed away on January 15, 2021
Angie, of Pleasant Street in Worcester, was born on July 8, 1922 to William and Demetra Belezos of Gloucester. Angie passed away peacefully after a 9 year battle with Dementia.
She leaves her daughter Janice Morin and husband James Morin of Millbury. She leaves 3 grandchildren Christopher Morin, his wife Lauren of Sutton, Granddaughter Jill Nason and husband Nicholas of Douglas and Joanna Morin of Millbury. She also leaves her 3 great-grandsons William and Andrew Nason and Thomas Morin. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 45 years, Thomas Zogas, daughter Antoinette "Toni" Landry, and brother George Belezos of Gloucester.
Angie retired in 1984 after working for Chess King for many years. She spent her years as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed the simple things in life like watching TV, reading her magazines, shopping and spending quality time with her family. Family meant everything to her and she cherished every moment with her loved ones. She would cook family dinners every Sunday after church. Yiayia "Wo Wo" loved to shop and especially loved a good bargain! She would take the bus to different destinations in Worcester up until she was 89 years old. She knew every bus route in the city and was very independent. She enjoyed meeting her girlfriends to shop and eat and always had fun getting together. Yiayia "Wo Wo" was never afraid to speak her mind - just ask Jimbo!
Angie will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. We want to especially thank Care One in Millbury who spent the last 8 years providing care for our Yiayia
