SUTTON-Maureen A. (Troy) Bradley, 64, formerly of Worcester, died Friday, January 8 at her daughter's home surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband of forty years, Richard A. Bradley in April, 2008. She leaves four children, David A. Bradley and his longtime companion, Jocelyn A. Segrin of Holden, Timothy J. Bradley of Sutton, Michele J. Shenette and her husband Timothy of Sutton and Kerry A. Lamonda and her husband Steven of Worcester; six grandchildren, Robert and Thomas Shenette of Sutton, Jordan Sands and Christian Lamonda of Worcester and Bailey and Kaitlyn Bradley of Sutton. She also leaves a brother, Michael J. Troy of Spotsylvania, VA; two sisters, Colleen Seeman and her husband Merle of Emery, SD and Shannon M. Troy of Danielson, CT; many nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Michael and Margaret (Beauvais) Troy and attended Blessed Sacrament and Commerce High Schools. Maureen was a member of St. Peter's Church and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary at VFW Post 3657. She summered at Hampton Beach her whole life and she was an avid Patriots fan. She was a loving and devoted grandmother and her grandchildren were the joy of her life. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. James Rooney and his staff at St. Vincent Hospital for the wonderful care which their mother received.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, January 14 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday, January 13 from 5-8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maureen's memory to VNA Care Network & Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608-1280.
