WORCESTER-Mavis Hammar died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Worcester Rehabilitation Healthcare Center.
She leaves her daughter Sarah Mason and grandson Jack Mason, both of Newark, DE. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Harry E. and Mabel G. (Rainville) Hammar.
A funeral will be held on Monday, December 29 from CALLAHAN~FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at All Faith's Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
