OXFORD-Meg M. "Riley" Dix, 61, passed away peacefully Thurs. Nov.24 in UMass Memorial Healthcare after an illness.
She leaves her husband and best friend of 24 years, Wayne Dix; a brother, Jack Riley of Auburn; two sisters, Ann Sutor and her husband, Brian of Ft. Myers and Webster and Lynn Bombard and her husband Brian of Auburn; many nieces and nephews. Her brother, Paul Riley predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of T. Paul and Margaret (Kane) Riley and graduated from Commerce High School. Meg worked at the former Jamesbury Corporation for 27 years leaving in 1996 due to illness. She truly enjoyed people watching and spending time with friends. But most of all her many times in St. Martin with friends.
Visiting hours will be Sunday, Nov. 27 from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. Funeral services and burial will be private. Contributions in her memory may be made to CCFA Honor & Memorial Gifts, 386 Park Avenue South, 17th Floor, New York, New York 10016-8804.
