Mel Andino

Worcester, MA – Mel Andino, 70, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2021 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born May 23, 1950 a son to Felicita Ortiz and Santiago Andino in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Mel retired as an Electrician for the Simon Company in Worcester, MA. He was a selfless loving family man who never judged, encouraged us to live our best life and always liked to crack a joke. A caring humanitarian who loved his cat Minina.

Mel leaves behind many that will miss him dearly including his loving wife, Edermira Castillo Andino, daughters Cindia Andino fiance Miguel Gonzalez, Lilibeth Andino Tatis spouse Dimas Tatis, Caterine De Castro Castillo spouse Felix Garcia, grandchildren Ivelisse fiance Kenny, Evan, Rashaan spouse Cristina, Alysia, Daniel, Maria Paula, Luis David, great grandchild Kenny. Mel was the oldest out of 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

Family and Friends will gather to celebrate Mel's life on Saturday, January 23, with calling hours from 11:00am until 1:00pm with a service immediately following at the Callahan Fay and Caswell Life Celebration Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester, MA 01608

Nació el 23 de Mayo de 1950 hijo de Felicita Ortiz y Santiago Andino en Bayamón, Puerto Rico. Mel se retiró como Electricista para la Simon Company en Worcester, MA. Era un hombre de familia amoroso desinteresado que nunca juzgó, nos animó a vivir nuestra mejor vida y siempre le gustaba hacer bromas. Un humanitario cariñoso que amaba a su gata Minina.

Mel deja atrás a muchos que lo extrañarán, incluyendo a su amorosa esposa, Edermira Castillo Andino, sus hijas Cindia Andino prometido Miguel González, Lilibeth Andino Tatis esposo Dimas Tatis, Caterine De Castro Castillo esposo Félix García, nietos Ivelisse prometido Kenny, Evan, Rashaan esposa Cristina, Alysia, Daniel, Maria Paula, Luis David, bisnieto Kenny. Mel era el mayor de 4 hermanos y 4 hermanas.
