Mensah Obeng

Mensah Obeng, age 72, of Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on May 25th at UMass Memorial Hospital after a period of illness. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Elizabeth Karikari of Worcester, his children Gloria Obeng Mensah, Ann Obeng Fosu, Solomon Mensah Obeng, Eunice Obeng Awuah, and Lois Mensah Obeng, as well as ten cherished grandchildren.

Mensah was a pillar of his community, serving with dedication as the esteemed Elder of the Worcester Church of Christ. Known for his spirit of generosity, calm demeanor, and profound love for others, he touched the lives of many beyond his immediate family. His unwavering faith and devotion to God were central to his life.

A funeral service will be held on July 13th, 2024, from 8:00am to 10:00am at Worcester Church of Christ, followed by a celebration of his life from 6:00pm to 12:00am at Saint Joan of Arc Hall, 570 Lincoln Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
