Michael F. Crowley

WORCESTER
Michael F. Crowley, 80, of Worcester died peacefully Sunday, March 28 surrounded by his loving family in the Christopher House Nursing Home.
His wife of 56 years Patricia E. (Hunt) Crowley died last September. He leaves two sons; Thomas M. and James P. Crowley of Worcester, three daughters; Catherine M. Testa and her husband Michael, of Worcester, Paula Bovenzi and her husband Michael of Worcester, and Maureen McKnight and her husband Lee of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters, Mary Fortin and Margaret Crowley both of Worcester; ten grandchildren; Marcy, Lisa, John, Christopher, Ryan, Sean, Brian, Michaela, Amanda and Michael, several nephews and nieces. Michael was predeceased by a daughter Mary Patricia Crowley. He was born in Worcester, son of Dennis and Margaret (Clifford) Crowley and graduated from St. Peter's High School and Worcester Junior College. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War.

Michael was a dispatcher for Millbrook Distributors, following his retirement he worked for UMASS Medical School. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians Div. %2336, the Saint Patrick's Day Parade Committee and the Knights of Columbus, Leicester Council. Michael was a member, a sexton, collector and eucharistic minister at St. Stephen's Church. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to entire staff of the Christopher House for their care and concern during Michael's stay there.

Michael's funeral will be held, Thursday, April 1 from the CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Liturgy of the Word at 10:00AM in St. Stephens Church 357 Grafton St. Interment will be in St. Johns Cemetery.
