Michael Paul Frankian, 72, passed away unexpectedly on May 14th, 2026, while vacationing in Italy.

Michael was born in Worcester on January 10th, 1954, son of the late Elsie (Marsoobian) and Jacob Frankian. Michael was a proud graduate of Worcester State College. While still attending college, he began working at National Envelope, where he built a remarkable 45-year career as an information technologist. His commitment, expertise, and strong work ethic earned the respect and friendship of countless colleagues over the years.

In addition to his full-time career, Michael enjoyed helping others and spent many holidays delivering flowers for Dean Florist in Tatnuck Square, bringing smiles to families throughout the Worcester area during special occasions. Mike was an avid sports fan who faithfully followed the Kansas Jayhawks basketball and the Kansas City Chiefs football.

Above all else, Michael cherished his family. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, relatives, and friends, creating memories that will be treasured for years to come. He also had a special affection for his pets, whose companionship brought him great joy throughout his life.

Mike leaves behind his beloved wife of over 40 years, Jody S. (Spoerr) Frankian; his children, Brian Frankian and Ashley (Frankian) Davis and her husband, Keaton; his grandchildren, Kyler Elise and Parker Jean Davis; and his sister, Jean Frankian, all of Overland Park, Kansas.

Family and friends are welcomed to a celebration of Mike's life at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester, with visitation on Wednesday, July 8th from 9:00am until 11:00am. A funeral service will begin at 11:00am in the funeral home with burial following in Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
