Michael A. Gonelli, 43, of 10 Doris St., died Friday, August 9, in the UMASS-Memorial Medical Center, Belmont St. Campus, after a long illness.
His wife, Carolyn J. (Papia) Gonelli died in 1995. He leaves a daughter, Angela C. Gonelli of Worcester, two stepsons, Corey Cutler and Cody Cutler both of Worcester; his parents, John J. and Mary E. (Grimes) Gonelli of West Boylston; two brothers Dominic R. Gonelli of West Boylston and Paul J. Gonelli of North Brookfield; two sisters Sheila M. Burbank of Auburn and Deborah Bradley of Seattle, Washington; several nephews and nieces, a great nephew and great nieces. A brother John J. Gonelli of San Diego, California predeceased him. He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia. He graduated from West Boylston High School in 1978. He was a member of St. Christopher's Church. He was a truck driver for Spaulding Fence Co. before retiring.
A funeral will be held Monday, August 12, from Fay Brothers Funeral Home www.faybrothers.com 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Christopher's Church 950 West Boylston St. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Calling Hours are Sunday, August 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers memorials made be made to the Diabetes Foundation
