Michael Thompson

WORCESTER-Michael Edwin Niiayi Thompson, 68, went home to the Lord on Monday, March 7th.  Michael leaves two sons, Michael Thompson of Washington, DC and William and his wife Yolana Thompson of Lawrenceville, GA; his daughter, Clarissa Thompson of Huntsville, AL; two grandchildren, Lauren and Alexis Thompson and one soon coming. He also leaves many brothers and sisters living Ghana and here in the United States and many nieces and nephews.

Michael was born April 18, 1947 a son of John Thompson and Vida Ayokor Hammond. He emigrated to the United States in 1973.  He worked as a technician at Intel for many years before retiring.

Michael’s Funeral will be held on Saturday, May 14th from 8:00 until 10:30 am at CALLAHAN~FAY~CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
