Michael C. Walsh

Michael C. Walsh 77, of Waterford, CT formerly of West Boylston Massachusetts passed away peacefully March 19, 2025, after an extended illness. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Madeline (Degon) and Charles J. Walsh.

Mr. Walsh was a graduate of West Boylston High School and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, he was also a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel in West Boylston. He enjoyed a career as a Certified Financial Planner for many years, with offices in Worcester and Marlborough, before his illness precipitated his early retirement. An avid outdoorsman, Mike enjoyed skiing, fly fishing and golf. He also coached several of his children’s youth teams.

He is survived by his three children: Sean M. Walsh and his wife Danielle of Niantic CT, Erin Esposito and her husband Michael of Paxton MA and Brendan C. Walsh of Worcester, MA; seven grandchildren Meaghan, Molly, Charles and Margaret Walsh, Madeline, Grace and Conor Esposito. Mike also leaves a brother Daniel Walsh of West Boylston, his nephew Thomas and his former wife Karen Weaver Walsh.

There are no calling hours, a funeral Mass and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Fay Brothers Funeral Home West Boylston is directing arrangements.
