WORCESTER

WORCESTER-Michelle A. (Bissonnette) Bottali, 51, was the heart and soul of her family. She wanted to explore the world and in doing so, passed away at one of her favorite places, Walt Disney World on Thursday, Sept 22.

All who were lucky enough to have known Michelle would describe her as a loyal and patient person and always loud, but with a giant heart.  She loved scrap booking, Harry Potter, puzzles, Japanese Cherry Blossoms Scent, all things Egypt, and card games to name a few. But most of all she was a fantastic mother, grandmother, sister and friend who cherished her family time, especially during the holidays. Her passion for Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth II made her one of the biggest fans of the royals. We like to think of her as having tea with them today.

She leaves her husband of 28 years, Jon Bottali, daughters Kayleigh Bottali of Tulsa Oklahoma Stephanie Bottali and husband Sebastian of Worcester and Aliecia Bottali of Worcester brothers, Scott Bissonnette and his wife Vicki Bissonnette and John J Bissonnette, both of Worcester. She was born in Worcester to the late Joseph J. Bissonnette and Carolyn J. (Daoust) Bissonnette. She graduated from Doherty Memorial High School and Salter Secretarial School. Michelle worked as a paralegal for 18 years and a secretary for 10 years to her friend and companion Shelly Busconi whom we give a special thanks for getting Jon and Kayleigh home during this strenuous time. We also thank Todd Meyers and his wife Caitlyn for helping her husband get home.

A Celebration of Michelle's Life will be held Thursday, Sept. 29 from 6 to 8pm at the Auburn/Webster Lodge of Elks, 754 Southbridge St., Auburn. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: St Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
