Michelle M. (Cardinal) Gay

Worcester-Michelle M. (Cardinal) Gay, 51, of Worcester passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019 in the Lanessa Extended Care Center, Webster.
 
She leaves her husband of 21 years, Kevin F. Gay; a son, Patrick J. Gay of Worcester; five siblings, Charlene Clark and her fiancé Richard of Worcester, Bruce Cardinal and his wife, Lauren of Charlton, Stephen Cardinal and his fiancée, Michelle of Paxton, Mary Ready and her husband, Brendan of Newton and Jack Cardinal of Wheat Ridge, CO; several nieces and nephews.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Ronald T. and Jacqueline C. (Demarais) Cardinal who predeceased her. Michelle was a graduate of South High Community School. She had many passions and was happiest around animals but more specifically she had a great love for caring for dogs of all kinds. She was a dog walker for many people in and around her neighborhood for many years. Michelle also loved motorcycle rides on Sunday or any other day she could get her husband out on the open road. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.

Her family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff at Lanessa Extended Care Center for the exceptional care they provided to her.
 
Visiting Hours will be on Thursday, February 14th to Celebrate Michelle's Life from 4 to 7pm in Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.  A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 15th at 11am in Our Lady of the Angels Church; 1222 Main St. Burial will be private.
