WORCESTER-Miles H. Warshaw, 81, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Framingham Union Hospital. His wife Roxanne (McAlian) Warshaw predeceased him in 1972. He is survived by two step-daughters, Marina Merian and her husband Daniel and Melanie Owens, and her husband Blake, all of Framingham; two step-sons, Haig Arakelian of Worcester and Kapriel Arakelian of Oxford; a sister, Irma Kolodne of Silver Springs, MD; a niece Helene Estomin and a nephew, Alan Kolodne of Maryland.
He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, son of the late Leo and Bessie (Lieb) Warshaw and served in the Air National Guard for several years. Mr. Warshaw worked at Raytheon as an engineer for nearly 30 years before retiring, and prior to that he worked at David Clark Company. He was an avid historian and particularly enjoyed the Civil War Era. He also enjoyed following the New England Patriots, photography and cooking, Middle Eastern cuisine was his specialty.
The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, April 24 at CALLAHAN FAY & CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
