WORCESTER: Moses Apau Asante, 75, died on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 in his home after being stricken ill. Moses leaves behind his wife Lily Apau-Asante; a son Christian Apau-Asante of Ghana; a daughter Selina Apau-Asante of Ghana; two brothers, Nana Kwasi Ampoma of Worcester and Emmanuel Apau of New Jersey; four sisters, Elizabeth Martha Asante of Florida, Mary Asante Ofori of New York, Erica Asante of Ghana and Joanna Apau Asante of Tennessee.
Moses was born in Koforidua, Ghana to Apostle C. E. Apau-Asante and Beatrice Ansomaa Asante, both of blessed memory. He completed his education at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, NY and worked with the Allied Security Company until he retired.
Visitation and funeral service will begin at 8:00 AM on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home at 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester, MA. Burial will immediately follow at the Notre Dame Cemetery & Mausoleum at 162 Webster Street, Worcester, MA.
