Moyna P. Ermshausen

WORCESTER-Moyna Patricia Ermshausen, 98, died Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Christopher House of Worcester.
She was born in Datchet, England, daughter of Francis B. and Laura (McAlery) Parry and settled in New York City when she first arrived in the United States.
During World War II, she served in the British Admiralty where she vividly remembered being bombed and shot at with machine guns. Tante Luise and Tante Minna were two of the several friends Moyna made amongst the Germans. They exchanged Christmas cards up until the last year or so. Moyna worked as an executive secretary throughout her working career. She was also a member of All Saint's Church.
Moyna enjoyed spending summer vacations at Watch Hill with her daughter. She also enjoyed shopping and spending time on the beach, which was one of her favorite places. In later years, the family enjoyed visiting and being visited by her British relatives.
She is survived by her daughter Ann L. Ermshausen of Worcester and several cousins in England. She was predeceased by her brother John Parry and his wife Ann who lived in England.

Funeral Services will be held at Noon on Thursday, December 23rd at All Saints Church, 10 Irving Street. Please gather directly at church. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Boylston.
