WORCESTER- Myrna L. Plant, 74, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2021 at the Odd Fellows Home of Worcester.
She was born in Harrington, Maine on August 23, 1946 a daughter of the late Oscar W. Garnett and Helen S. Prouty. Myrna attended local schools and worked for many years at the former Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing. She enjoyed knitting and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She leaves behind her loving son Keith E. Plant and his wife Tammy, of Millbury; two sisters Rena I. Doyle and her partner Daniel Voellings of Worcester and Denise Rizzuto and her husband, Raymond of Deltona, Florida; two grandchildren, Amanda Plant of Worcester and Timothy Plant and his wife, Kahlan of Millbury; three great-grandchildren Emillea, Jordan and Jaden Plant; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Myrna was predeceased by her siblings Cynthia Creamer and Arthur E. Benoit.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life with a graveside service on Friday, May 28th at 10:00am at Notre Dame Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be considered to Veteran's Inc., 69 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605.
