Nancy E. Polinski

WORCESTER-Nancy E. (Leamy) Polinski, 85, of Worcester, died Monday, April 6 at Holy Trinity Nursing Home. Nancy's husband, Frederick M. Polinski, passed away in 1983. She leaves her sister and brother-in-law Myrle and Joseph C. Shediack, Jr. of Georgia and sister Anne V. Hay of North Carolina; four nephews, William T. Leamy of Weymouth, Thomas J. Leamy of Worcester, Joseph C. Shediack, III of New Jersey, and Patrick Shediack of Ohio; three nieces, Barbara Leamy-Kolligian of Worcester, Mary Ellen Otenti of Framingham, and Nancy Catherine Gates of Georgia. She also leaves several great nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother William I. Leamy, Jr., sisters, Catherine Barr, Rose Rochette, Barbara Leamy and nephew Walter Barr, MD.
Nancy was born in Clinton to Ann (Boylan) and William I. Leamy, Sr. She was a graduate of the former Ascension High School and Ward Business Schools. Nancy was employed by St. Vincent Hospital for many years. She enjoyed playing BINGO, reading and gardening.
A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, April 9 at St. John's Cemetery, Parker Road, Lancaster, MA. There are no visiting hours.
