Neil S. Davis

WORCESTER-Neil S. Davis, age 81, passed away peacefully at his home in Worcester on Monday, June 1st, 2026, after an illness.

Born in Worcester on February 20th, 1945, he attended Classical High School and later graduated from The College of the Holy Cross. After graduation he spent time in the Army as a JAG officer, and upon his return received his JD from Suffolk Law School.

The law was his both his profession and his true calling. He joined the Worcester Bar Association in 1976 and was celebrating his 50th year as an attorney. He loved the city of Worcester deeply, as well as going to Red Sox games, Holy Cross sports, golf trips, seeing the Rolling Stones, and driving fast cars.

Neil was predeceased by his parents John and Elsie (Sullivan); his daughter, Geneva; his brother, John Jr.; and his wife Katherine (Hecker). He is survived by his son Zach and his wife Denise (Chadwick); granddaughters Maxine and Anna; niece Christine; and nephew Patrick.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday June 11th from 10-12pm at Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home in Worcester. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Legal Aid https://communitylegal.org
