Nicole (Memnon) Bazile, 67, died Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at UMass Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on September 1, 1953 and raised there by her father Jean and Lise Memnon. Nicole moved to Brooklyn, NY in 1972 and settled in Worcester, MA shortly after. She spent her career as a mental health worker at Westborough State Hospital for many years retiring at the time of their closure.
Nicole was a very spiritual woman; her faith and church were very important to her and played a large role in her life. She was a loving mother, a dear friend but most of all, she adored being a loving mémère to her beautiful grandchildren.
She is survived by her three daughters, Dielhomane Louisgene (Nicholas Stewart) of Worcester, Doris Augustt of Worcester and Danisha Marcellin (C. Michael Marcellin) of Houston Texas, her former husband Larry Augustt of Worcester and four grandchildren, Brycen, Madison, Brielle and Mia. Nicole also leaves behind seven brothers, Carlos, Albert, Pierre, Harry, Johnny, Jimmy Memnon and Milo Joseph.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 19th at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street with visiting hours from 10:00am until Noon with a Service beginning at Noon. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
