WORCESTER- Niko Pisqolla, 90, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Friday September 25, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.
His love lives on in his family and friends: Ana (Gjini) Pisqolla, his beloved and caring wife of 56 years; son, Kristofor Pisqolla and his wife Fabiola of Worcester; two daughters, Efi and her husband Bekim Dukaj of Worcester, Irena and her husband Artur Manxhari of Worcester; and cousins Bernard and Carolyn Burke of Worcester. He was blessed with seven grandchildren: Fjodor, Livio, Ashley, Gloria, Christina, Violet, and Julianna. Mr. Pisqolla was predeceased by a brother, Viktor, and a sister, Aleksandra.
He was born in Permet, Albania, son of Fore and Efigjeni Pisqolla and moved to the United States in 2000. He was always full of life, with a smile in his face and a guitar in his arms ready to bring joy to all around him.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 30 from CALLAHAN FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, with a Service at Noon at St. Mary's Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury Street. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday, September 29 from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
