Nils W. Robertson 56, of 68 Sterling Place died Sunday, Nov. 7, in UMass Memorial Medical Center-University Campus.

He leaves his wife of 29 years, Theresa L. (White) Robertson, two daughters, Amy M. Schlosser of Waterford, CT and Lauren B. Robertson of West Boylston; a sister, Ilona Robertson of Clinton, CT and nephews and nieces. He was born in New York City, NY, son of Levi V. and Sigrid (Hakkarainen) Robertson and graduated from the University of Rhode Island and Cornell University.

Nils was a veterinarian and co-owner of the Abbott Animal Hospital. He was a member of the Conservation Commission in West Boylston and enjoyed, boating, mountain climbing and woodworking. He loved animals and was a BMW Z8 enthusiast.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. in the Holden Chapel, 279 Reservoir St., Holden. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Calling Hours are Tuesday, Nov. 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. at FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston St. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Holden Chapel, 279 Reservoir St. Holden, 01520.
