Nora V. McFadden

WORCESTER-Nora V. McFadden, 81, of 11 Marble St., died Sunday, March 18 in Millbury Healthcare Center. She leaves a sister, Loretta M. Laverty of Worcester, a brother, James F. McFadden of Worcester, several nephews, nieces and great nephews and great nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers, Austin B. McFadden and John McFadden. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Austin and Nora (O'Grady) McFadden and graduated from Commerce High School.

Nora worked at Hahnemann Hospital for many years retiring in 1991. She was a member of St. Peter's Church and its Women's Guild, Red Hat Society at the Worcester Senior Center, Marble Street Tenant Council and the Ancient Order of Hibernians-Ladies Auxiliary %2336.

Nora's funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 21 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday, March 20 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Peter's Church, 929 Main St., Worcester, MA 01610.
