Norma Harger

Norma Harger died February 8, 2007 at age 83. Her husband of 52 years, Harold, died in 1997.

For most of her life Mrs. Harger lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In 2004 she moved to Worcester, where she resided at Briarwood Retirement Community.

Mrs. Harger's late first son, James, was a highly regarded physician. Her other child, Dale, practices law in Worcester. Mrs. Harger leaves four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

For several decades Mrs. Harger conducted extensive genealogical research concerning her family and her husband's family, tracing certain lines to the seventeenth century. Her work reached a high level of scholarly excellence.

No local services are planned, but a memorial service will be held next Saturday at First Congregational Church in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
