PLYMOUTH/GRAFTON- Norma E. (Hedfors) Hunt, 90, formerly of Grafton, died Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in Plymouth where she resided with her daughter.
Norma was born in Worcester, daughter of George and Lillian (Holm) Hedfors and graduated from Commerce High School. She worked at American Steel until marrying Carl in 1958. They were longtime members of Emanuel Lutheran Church.
She was predeceased by her husband Carl E. Hunt, Jr in October 1975. She is survived by three children; Stephen Hunt and his wife Lita of Cooper City, FL, Carla Festa and her husband Ronald of Millbury and Kristyn Anderton and her husband Robert of Plymouth. Norma also leaves her two grandchildren, Ashleigh Festa of Millbury and Jade Anderton of Plymouth, and step-grandchildren, Brenda Brawn and her husband Greg of Marshfield, Eric Alexander of Port St. Lucie, FL and Kathy Ramey and her husband John of Chouteau, OK and eight step-great grandchildren.
Family was what was most important to Norma. She loved her children, grandchildren and extended step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. She was so proud of each of them.
Norma loved spending time and talking with her family and friends, listening to music by Engelbert Humperdinck, and dancing whenever the opportunity arose. She kept herself busy throughout the day doing crossword puzzles, watching her favorite daily gameshows and taking the occasional shopping trip. Norma's favorite holiday was Christmas and she took great pride in decorating her tree and home.
Services will be held Monday, February 14th with a visiting hour from 10-11am at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:30am at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 200 Greenwood Street immediately followed by burial at All Faith's Cemetery.
