Oscar R. Gauvin Jr., 42, of Boylston, passed suddenly on December 7, 2015 at his home following a brief illness.
Oscar was born in Framingham on July 17, 1973. He was raised in Milford and was a 1991 graduate of Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School. He earned his Associates degree in Business from Bay State College. It was there that he met the love of his life, Kelly Knight and they began their 23 year long journey together.

Ambitious and hardworking, Oscar founded Painting Unlimited in Boylston which he continued to operate until his passing. He will be remembered by those who loved him as generous, kind hearted and a force to be reckoned with. He was a fan of the New England Patriots and enjoyed a round of golf but above all he cherished the time spent with his family. He will be deeply missed by all whom had the privilege to have known him. The moral support and wonderful advise that Oscar gave friends and family will be forever missed.

He leaves behind his wife Kelly Knight, and their son, Nathan; his father, Oscar Ron Gauvin Sr., and his wife Janet of Southbridge; his mother, Patricia A. Lavigne and her husband Ronald of W. Boylston; his sister, Nicole Tatten of Boylston; two brothers, Keith Gauvin and his wife Elaina of Spencer, and Ryan Gauvin and his wife Melinda of Spencer; many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.

Visiting hours for Oscar will be on Sunday December 13th from 1 until 3pm at FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W.BOYLSTON ST., WEST BOYLSTON. His Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am on Monday December 14th St. Mary of the Hills Church, 630 Cross St., Boylston. Private burial will take place at Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in person to the Nathan D. Gauvin Memorial Fund care of TD Bank, 200 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA 01545
