Oscar W. Henault 93, of 10 Green St. in the Oakdale section of West Boylston died Friday (Oct.18) at home after an illness.

His wife of 62 years, Gertrude M. (LaPointe) Henault died in 1996. He leaves two sons, Pierre C. Henault with whom he lived and Paul R. Henault of West Boylston, a daughter, Sister Michelle of the Sisters of Notre Dame in Zimbabwe, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Two brothers, Walter Henault of Saint Petersburg, FL died this year and George Henault of Brockton died in 1961 and a sister, Ida Woodbury of Oakdale died in 1983. He was born in Oakdale, son of Jerry and Roseanna (Roy) Henault. He attended Major Edwards High School and has lived in West Boylston since 1947, prior to that he resided in Clinton.

He worked for the MDC Water Division in West Boylston and Clinton for 48 years, retiring as General Foreman in 1974.

He was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and a former member of Holy Rosary Church and its Men's Club.

A Funeral will be held Tuesday (Oct. 22) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home (www.faybrothers.com) 1 West Boylston St. with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church 111 Worcester St. Burial will be in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester. A Calling Time will be held Tuesday (Oct.22) from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
