WEST BOYLSTON-Othelia (Nowak) Paradis, 83, of West Boylston passed away Sat., Oct. 6 at University Commons after a long illness.

Her husband Norman Paradis passed away in 1976. She leaves her son, James A. Paradis of West Boylston; her sister, Alberta Maki of West Boylston; her granddaughter, Rebecca Paradis of Spencer, nieces and nephews. Three brothers and three sisters predeceased her.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of Peter A. and Leokadia (Golazewski) Nowak and graduated from West Boylston High School. She worked as a bookkeeper at Greenthumb Nursery. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.

Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no visiting hours. Arrangements are under the care of FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to The West Boylston Fire and Ambulance Fund, 39 Worcester St., West Boylston, MA 01583.
