P. Gordon Creamer

WORCESTER-P. Gordon Creamer, 97, passed away on September 5th, following a period of declining health.

Born in Sunapee, NH, Gordon lived most of his adult life in the Worcester area. A chef by profession, he spent many years managing local eating establishments. Most satisfying for him were the years he spent teaching cooking skills to at risk teens. Gordon loved cooking but his real passion was for theatre pipe organs. He was a member of the Eastern MA Chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society and was happy to tell you about the various organs he played throughout the US. One of his happiest memories was of playing the organ at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Locally, Gordon played at the Hanover Theatre where he would provide music accompaniment to silent films. He also played for Worcester's seniors at the Senior Center.

Gordon was the son of Joseph and Florence Creamer. He was the oldest of 11 children, and as the oldest brother he supported his siblings generously as they were growing.

Gordon is survived by his sister, Margurite Castor of Keene, NH as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, his brothers, Benjamin, Richard, Alton, and Robert, and his sisters, Eunice Creamer, Josephine Dunton, Shirley Fiderio, Beverly Hutchins, and Betty Castor.

Funeral services will be held at a later date in Nelson, NH. Arrangements in the care of Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street.
