Patricia B. Lennon

AUBURN-Patricia Benoit Lennon, 67, died Tuesday, July 5, 2022, peacefully, in her home after a long illness.

She was born in Worcester, December 1, 1954, daughter of the late Richard S. and Rita L. (Cronin) Benoit and graduated in 1972 from Marian High School and 1976 from Fitchburg State University with a BS in Biology. Patricia taught Biology at the Dennis Yarmouth Regional High School and then worked for Niman Paper Supply in Worcester. She retired after 30 years from Verizon as a communication specialist.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Gillian Benoit Lennon, a sister-in-law, Eileen Benoit; her aunt, Pat Cronin of Worcester and uncle, George Cronin of Florida; nephews and nieces, Keith, Melanie, Kelly, Philip, Kristin, Jake, Luke; great nephews and great nieces, Lauren, Audrey, PJ, Ben and Jackson; several cousins, her former husband, Robert T. Lennon, and her extended family, the Blanchard’s and Moisio’s. She was predeceased by her three brothers: Richard Benoit, Daniel Benoit, and Peter Benoit.

Patricia loved to travel, especially when taking cruises. She enjoyed concerts at Indian Ranch and cruises on the Indian Princess on Webster Lake. Patricia was a kind, loving person who was always so generous to her family and friends.

Her family would like to thank Care Central VNA and Hospice and Laura’s Guardian Angels for the wonderful care they provided to Patricia during her final days at home. Also, a special thanks to her many friends who stopped by to visit and to those that helped to care for her.
