Worcester / West Palm Beach, FL- Patricia E. (Maus) Russo, 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, the late Louis F. Russo, Sr., who passed away on February 25, 2006.
Pat was born on January 23, 1928 the daughter of the late Frederick and Gertrude (Aspenheimer) Maus. She was raised in Mt. Vernon, New York and attended local schools. For many years, Patricia worked as a telephone operator at the Nestle Corporation in Purchase,
New York. Following their retirement, Pat and Louie relocated to West Palm Beach, Florida where they lived for the next 26 years.
Pat remained active in her later years even working part time until she was 83. A social butterfly, she enjoyed lunches with friends and family, a good book, going to a movie, listening to music and dancing. She never turned down the opportunity to enjoy a good cosmo or a glass of white zinfandel. She and Louie made many special memories on their various road trips throughout the country visiting friends and family along the way.
She leaves behind her loving children, Paul Russo and his wife, Peggy of Edison, New Jersey; Louis Russo, Jr., of Nyack, New York and Lori Seaver and her husband, Dennis of Worcester; four beloved grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas, Jake and Chelsea; extended family members and many friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Pat was predeceased by two siblings, Marie Burkhardt and Frederick Maus, Jr., both of Mt. Vernon, New York.
Family and friends will gather to honor, remember and celebrate Pat's life on Saturday, December 8th from 4:30pm until 6:30pm at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A prayer service will follow in the funeral home.
