WEST BOYLSTON

Patricia "Pat" (Tubert) Sharameta, 79, of West Boylston died Sunday, May 21, 2006, surrounded by her loving family at her home.

Pat was the beloved wife of 53 years to Joseph C. Sharameta, Sr. She is survived by two children, Joseph C. Sharameta, Jr. & his partner John M. Doherty of Bridgewater and Juli Giannetta and her husband Richard of Holden; three grandchildren, Daniel, Kyle, & Jacob; beloved niece Susan McCann of Southboro; sister Shirley Fitzgerald of Boylston; and brother, Robert Tubert of Nashville, TN. She was the sister of the late Doris Morin and Jack Tubert.

Pat was born in Pittsfield, MA on March 18, 1927, daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Henchey) Tubert. She was raised in Worcester and graduated from Commerce High School. After marriage, Pat and her husband Joe owned and operated the Charles Restaurant in Worcester until the 1980's. In addition to the restaurant, and Pat's primary love of caring for her family, she was also employed as a telephone operator for the New England Telephone Company for over 20 years, retiring in the late 1980's. Pat was a member of the Wachusett Country Club for many years and the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 26, at 10 am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, West Boylston. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be held in the FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St., West Boylston on Thursday from 5-7 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Caitlyn Raymond International Registry, c/o U-Mass Medical Center, 55 Lake Ave. Worcester, MA 01605.
