Patricia A. (Lane) Spellane, 86, of 48 Claridge Rd. died Saturday, March 5, at home, surrounded be her family.

She leaves her husband of 59 years, Philip G. Spellane; three sons, Philip G. Jr. and his wife Ann Marie Spellane, William J. and his wife Liddy Spellane and Paul F. Spellane all of Worcester; three daughters, Anne M. Spellane of Auburn, Joan M. Spellane of Worcester, and Patricia M. and her husband Stephen O'Neil of Worcester; 11 grandchildren and a great grandson. She was born in Milton, daughter of William J. and Mary A. (Buckley) Lane and graduated from Carney Hospital School of Nursing. She was a US Marine Veteran of WWII serving with the US Public Health Service.

Mrs. Spellane was a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital for many years, before retiring. She was a member of St. George's Church.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, March 8, from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. George's Church, 38 Brattle St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling Hours are Monday, March 7, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
