WORCESTER-In loving memory of Paul "Cuz" Dowd, a lifelong resident of Worcester, born one of four on Grafton Hill. Paul, who was a dedicated General Motors employee until his career was prematurely cut short by an injury, peacefully departed at the age of 71 on November 2, 2023, following a prolonged battle with health challenges.
Paul's life was rich with experiences and interests. He reveled in his summers, casting lines in Martha's Vineyard, and found solace in the timeless tales of Westerns on television. He also treasured the moments spent at Cicero's Cafe, where he formed enduring friendships.
Paul is remembered with love and fondness by those who survive him. He leaves behind his son Justin, alongside Justin's wife Rebecca and their cherished daughter Charlotte. He is also survived by his older brother James of Worcester, MA, whose bond with Paul was unbreakable. Additionally, his Aunt Judy and Uncle David of Palos Verdes, CA, will forever hold their dear memories of him close to their hearts. Paul is also survived by his first cousins, hailing from Worcester, Ohio, and California, who shared countless moments of laughter and camaraderie with him throughout the years.
Paul's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his spirit will be remembered fondly by all who were fortunate to be a part of his life's journey. In accordance with his wishes, a private burial will be held at Hope Cemetery in Worcester.
