Paul G. Goodrich, 60, of Worcester died Saturday, February 26 unexpectedly at home.
He leaves his wife of 18 years and best friend Dottie R. (Terrill) Goodrich; a step-son, Keith and a step-daughter, Shannon; his grandchildren, Brian, Brendan, Madison and Andrew; his mother, Rebecca ( Slayton) Goodrich of Morrisville, VT; a sister, Dorothy and Wallace Reeve of Morrisville, VT; his father-in-law, Ed Terrill of Worcester; brothers and sisters in law, Bill, Rick, Jim, Kevin, Marilyn, and Clare; several nieces and nephews; cousins, and aunts. He was predeceased by his brother, George Goodrich, III. He was born in Morrisville, VT son of the late, George Goodrich, Jr. He graduated from, People's Academy in Morrisville, VT Class of 68'and Champlain College in Burlington, VT Class of 70'. He then went on to receive to his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, graduating Cum Laude from Plymouth State College, Plymouth, NH Class of 73'.
Paul was an accountant at the Metro West Medical Center.
He was a member of St. Peter's Church and a former member of the First Congregational Church in Morrisville, VT. He enjoyed golf and loved gardening and nurturing flowers. He was a home repair expert, especially woodworking. Paul enjoyed taking yearly cruises, vacations at Wells Beach, Maine, Sunday trips to Hampton Beach and visiting his family in Vermont.
The funeral will be held Saturday, March 5 from Callahan and Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. Worcester with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main St., Worcester. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. Visiting Hours, are Friday, March 4, from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
