Paul G Hammarstrom

Paul G. " Hammy" Hammarstrom, 94 died Wednesday November 30, 2022 in his home after being stricken ill.

   He leaves his wife of 68 years, Lorna B. (Gullbrand) Hammarstrom, a son Robert P. Hammarstrom of Worcester, a daughter Janet L. Hammarstrom of Sutton and several nieces and nephews.

   Paul was born in Worcester, son of Gustaf A. and Lillian M. (Swedberg) Hammarstrom.  He was a draftsman at Norton Company for 31 years before retiring.  He served his country in the United States Navy.  He enjoyed woodworking, doing projects and tinkering around his home.  He loved sailing on Lake Singletary and entertaining his family at his summer home on the lake.  He was a "Man of few words"  He was a longtime member of Quinsigamond United Methodist Church.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 7 at 11:00 AM at All Faith's Cemetery, Worcester.  Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street is directing arrangements.
