Paul M. "Mickey" Bloomfield, 79, of Naples, FL and formerly of May Street Worcester, MA passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018. He was born and raised in Worcester and attended public schools. A graduate of Worcester Academy and Wentworth College, Boston. Mick worked in the family business B. Bloomfield, Company until its closing in the late 80's. He then worked for Waste Management until he retired due to health problems. He was a lifelong member of the Worcester Model Railroaders, Inc. and was honored to be the first associate member of the Worcester Hibernians Division 36. Mick was a devout man and followed his religion to the letter. He loved all things Irish especially the Irish Club on Millbury Street in Worcester. A kind and thoughtful man with a beautiful smile that will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Peg (Roberts) Bloomfield of Naples, FL and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Benjamin and Sophie (Cutler) Bloomfield; sister, Elinor Isenberg of Paxton and brothers, Al Bloomfield of Paxton, David and Harold of Worcester.
Services will be held Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Worcester Hebrew Cemetery.
