WORCESTER-Pedro Perez-Crespo, 87, of Worcester passed away Tuesday, November 12 in Knollwood Nursing Center.
He leaves his wife, Esmeralda (Rosa) Perez; five children, Elvis Perez and his wife, Norma of Worcester, Steve Perez and his companion, Kim Wilson of Worcester, Lissette Santana and her husband, Jose of Leicester, Kathleena Lawton of Worcester and Peter Perez and his wife, Kristal of Worcester; eight grandchildren, Antonio Santana, Nya Santana, Cloee Perez, Julian Perez, Martika Perez, Angel Perez, Edwin Aldea and Steve Perez, Jr.; several great-grandchildren; two siblings, Jose “Enrique” Olivencia of Queens, NY and Juan Olivencia of Puerto Rico and nieces and nephews. Three siblings, Francisco Olivencia, William Olivencia and Valentina Montalvo and a son-in-law, Michael Lawton predeceased him He was born in Rincon, PR son of Pedro Perez and Rosalia Crespo.
Pedro worked in the groundskeeping and maintenance department for the City of Worcester, for many years, before retiring. He enjoyed collecting coins and baseball cards. Pedro loved watching baseball, especially his favorite team, the New York Yankees. He also enjoyed trips to the casino and racetrack and playing his numbers.
Visiting Hours are Tuesday, November 19 from 10am to 12pm with a Funeral Service at 12pm in Callahan Fay Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
