Worcester-Peter L. Teran, 63, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.
He leaves a daughter, Alexis (Teran) Hampton and her husband David of Florida, 2 grandchildren, Ayanna and Isaiah Hampton, a sister, Rowena Teran of Worcester and his nephew Joseph Teran Garbose. He was predeceased by his parents Gerald and Trudy(Breidler) Teran.
Peter earned a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire and had a keen interest in education all his life. He was well versed in many subjects and loved to educate those near and dear to him. He lived his life with a fiery passion, whether he was racing down a mountain on his skis or heading out to some favorite spots in the country at full throttle on his favorite Harley Davidson chopper. Those who knew him well, remember his love of repairing things and building fast go karts and mini-bikes as a young child. He showed great kindness to many people in his neighborhood and in his travels. If something broke, his friends knew who to go to. He gave his help so unselfishly and he has left his family and friends with a deep sense of loss at his untimely passing. His life was a gift to many who will sorely miss his wonderful presence and unique personality.
His graveside service and burial were held on January 29, 2020 in Mooreland Cemetery in Paxton. Donations in his memory may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St., Worcester, MA 01606
