Phyllis Jeanne Hare

SHREWSBURY
Phyllis Jeanne (Clark) Hare of Hyannis and formerly of Shrewsbury, passed away quietly at home Saturday, January 24, 2009. She was born on March 3, 1925 in Lockport, New York, to G. Howard and Irene L. (Miller) Clark. Phyllis was married to the late Noel E. Hare Sr. for more than fifty loving years. Phyllis' life and loves revolved around family both near and far, her art and gardens. She was also an active member of the Shrewsbury Grange.

She leaves a son, Noel E. Jr. and daughter-in-law Deborah of Southampton, NY, daughter Irene Brown and son-in-law Gary of Hyannis, MA, grandchildren Jeanne (Tony) Ciliberto, Barbara (Ted) Komenda, Wendy (Scott) Brooks, H. Russell (Molly) Brown, Noel (Jackie) Hare, Alexandra (Jared) Margolis and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves brother-in-law Robert (Carol) Hare of Jamesville, NY and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 31 in Cold Spring Cemetery, Lockport, NY. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a local Salvation Army, the American Cancer Society or charity of one's choice.
