CHARLTON-Priscilla Gorham (Buck) Harthan, 81, passed away on Monday, January 12th after a six year battle with cancer. She leaves her devoted husband of 50 years, Warren B. Harthan; her son, Mark Emmons of Worcester; her daughter, Melodi Emmons of North Carolina, five grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Elizabeth Maki and Marcia Shubert and her brother, George Buck.

Priscilla was born in Holden the daughter of George Newton and Marjorie P. (Arms) Buck. She graduated from David Hale Fanning School, Quinsigamond Community College for Nursing and received her bachelor of science in Nursing from Worcester State College in 1986. Priscilla worked as a registered nurse for many years before retiring. She was a former member of the Quinebaug 7th Day Adventist Church in Connecticut and was presently attending the Tri State Baptist Church. She was a former member of the Appalachian Mt. Club, West Boylston Historical Society and the Charlton Historical Society.

Visiting hours for Priscilla will be held on Friday, January 23 from 3-6 pm in FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St., W. Boylston. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 24 in the Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Hillside Cemetery, Sterling.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
